NTSCORP is located on the lands of the Gadigal people. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Traditional Owners across NSW and the ACT.

About NTSCORP

We are the native title service provider for New South Wales and the ACT.

It’s our vision that all Traditional Owners in New South Wales and the ACT have their rights and interests recognised and respected and determine their own path to economic, cultural and social independence.

What we do

Native Title Claims – preparing them, filing them and getting them determined

We work closely with Traditional Owner groups to prepare and file native title claims and guide them through the complex legal process involved in securing their rights.

Representation in Negotiations

We act as a staunch advocate for native title groups and corporations in negotiations with government and third parties, to reach agreements which protect native title rights and secure fair benefits and outcomes for native title holders.

Policy Advocacy and Legal Reform

We advocate to influence policy and legal reforms that advance the interests of native title holders.  This includes management of cultural heritage, water and fishing rights.  Through strategic advocacy, we push for meaningful change within the law to better protect Indigenous rights.

How we work

Aboriginal-led community facilitation underpins all our work.  Our Community Facilitation team unit is made up of Aboriginal staff who ensure that we operate in a culturally appropriate and respectful manner.  We have developed longstanding relationships and we understand the people and communities we work for.

We have an inhouse Research team of anthropologists and historians who have worked in native title in New South Wales and the ACT for over twenty years.  Their collective research is crucial in preparing successful claims.

Our Legal team works closely with the Community Facilitators and Researchers to give clear and accurate advice.  Our lawyers have specialised native title legal knowledge and decades of experience working with Aboriginal people and communities.

Finally, we have a Corporate team who makes sure we operate effectively as an organisation and uphold the highest governance standards.

Community and Corporate Responsibility

As an Aboriginal organisation and a good corporate citizen, NTSCORP is proud of its commitment to community, sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Community engagement with Aboriginal communities across NSW and ACT is central to our corporate responsibility activities.

We work with community representatives to ensure that our projects and policies are culturally appropriate.

Many of our corporate responsibility activities are directly related to sport and culture, recognising the importance of these activities to the communities we serve. Each year, we attend the Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout in regional NSW and the Yabun Festival in Sydney. We are also committed to supporting local Aboriginal businesses where possible through the purchase of goods and services. NTSCORP is a member of the Australian Indigenous Chamber of Commerce and the Redfern Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
